The finest equipment, state-of-the-art safety systems, and
professionally trained staff insure participants a safe experience. The fifty foot tall
Alpine Tower provides versatile and impactful educational experiences for a wide range of
populations which include:
Corporate Training Programs
Outdoor Adventure programs
Hospitals
Schools and Universities
Rescue and Fire Training
Treatment Centers
Conference Centers
Group
problem solving initiatives can be accomplished in or around the tower base. They are low
to the ground problems which usually require spotting and a few props. They focus on the
following objectives:
Teamwork
Fun
Communication
Trust
Cooperation
Respect for Others
The Perimeter Transverse is accomplished when participants circumnavigate on the base
rails forming a human chain without touching the ground.
This
photo demonstrates the Alpine Tower's belay system. After an individual has demonstrated
their competency with the entire belay process, they can begin working with a climber. The
monitor backs up the belayer to provide additional safety and support.
These
climbers are half way up the tower. The climber on the right is ascending a buttress. The
climber on the left is demonstrating his skills on The Diabolical See-Saw.
This climber demonstrates his skills on The Corporate
Ladder. Progressive height changes in the four steps of the ladder presents a climber
with innovative challenges.
The Floating Poles Duo presents an alternative route
to the top of the tower.
The Tower Pull is only used after a group has done
multiple ascents of the tower and may be ready for more difficult assignments. The
objective is for all the climbers, with guidance and tension from belayers and monitors,
to work the giant 100' rope circle all the way to the top rails of the tower.
The true potential of the Alpine Tower Experience is
reached when partners develop compassion, respect and understanding
for each other.
